The 8th International Yoga Day (started from 2015 as an international level programme) was celebrated with great enthusiasm by M L CONVENT GROUP OF SCHOOLS PRAYAGARAJ along with its all five units:

     The theme of International Yoga Day 2022 was “Yoga for Humanity” keeping in the mind the significant of mental, physical and emotional strife caused by the pandemic.

To perform International Yoga Day in a meaningful way, the programme was celebrated jointly by M L Convent Meerapur, M L Convent Kereli and M L Convent Karelabagh in the presence of our President Mr Punit Verma.  Principals Mrs Meena Jauhari, Mrs Anuroop Srivastava, Mrs Nimisha Srivastava, Mrs Tapasi Dhar with all teaching and non-teaching staff along with PTI Mr. Kamal Gurung and Ms Monika Singh. M L CONVENT INTER COLLEGE MEHDAURI celebrated Yoga Day with Principal Mrs Rashmi Gupta alongwith her teaching and non-teaching staff and students. M L CONVENT SCHOOL BAGHAMBARI GADDI celebrated Yoga Day with Principal Mr Premendra Srivastava, alongwith teaching and non-teaching staff and students and specially invited Yoga Trainer Mr Umesh Srivastava from Yoga Satsang Dhyan Kendra Sohbatiabagh, Prayagraj.

All the invitees were benefitted by doing several asans as Pranayam, Naukasan, Vajrasan, Garudasan etc. under the guidance of Yoga experts.

Hon’ble Mr Punit Verma President M L Convent group of schools was also present at M L Convent, Karelabagh to grace this function. He congratulated all Principals, teachers, PTI, staff members and students for managing the programme in successful way and said, “The Yoga Day is meant to spread the awareness about yoga and its benefits for health and well-being. Yoga is a group of physical, mental and spiritual disciplines by which we can encourage our surroundings and gain a greater understanding of themselves, their life purpose and relationships with the divine power.
